Company History

VenTexSoftware.com officially formed in August, 2007 but the groundwork started in 2001. We bring over thirty one years of petroleum engineering and production operations experience originating from the lower 48 states of the United States and South and Central America. The majority of this time has been spent originating, developing, predicting and implementing waterflood / secondary recovery projects. The frequency and number of projects necessitated a reliable, easy to use, documented methodology based on fluid flow and displacement concepts familiar to most practicing engineers and geologists. It also had to be intuitive in its use by clients and customers thus eliminating hours of tutorial effort and specialized training. It could be an excellent precursor to time consuming and expensive simulation and would in fact help justify the latter. Assuming that the necessary input data is in hand, multi-layer and or multi-pattern analysis can be done in a matter of a few minutes.
